The Shakers is a great classic rock cover band. They played
with energy and style. It featured the great vocal/guitar talent of Tom Lundy from The Poormouth. Driven by the
brilliant rhythm section vocalist/bass Eamon Doyle.
Add to that the excellent drummer, Les Binks made famous
by his days with Judas Priest also the almighty talent of Alice Cooper guitarist Pete Friesen. Put those bloaks together
and you have a serious rock outfit! To cap it all off, add a
venue full of the British music loving locals and it all comes together to make one awesome night!
Sadly shortly after these pictures Tom Lundy lost a battle with a serious illness and
had to join the other rock legends who had also passed. Tom will be missed by the musical community, his wife Maria and his
children.
I was fortunate enough to be get the
opportunity to play a couple of numbers with the guys at Eddie's Bar in Luton in 2001 and 2002.

"The Boys Are Back In Town"
I get to do the solo on "School's Out". Awesome!
Ten Brownie points for spotting my little v8080 combo....
Playing " Schools's Out" with Pete, who has played so many tours with Alice, was
a real treat.
Thank you very much!
