The Story of the Red Cabinet
It all started when my
ex-girlfriend bought me a red Marshall 1972 Super Bass Head, I loved it more than her, so she made sure after the break-up
I did not get it. I needed a red cabinet to go with ti at the time, but a 1970's cab would cost a fortune and would
be most likely too beat up to look good with the mint condition head. So when I was at the Marshall factory
on a tour I asked about a custom red cabinet being built. To my surprise they said it could easily be done!
So I ordered a Classic red 4x12 with 25 watt Celestian speakers, a checkerboard grill, with gold piping and a small gold
logo. Marshall even let me come and test the cabinet at the factory when it was finished. I cranked it up with a Gibson
Les Paul Deluxe and rocked the factory with Red Power! The cabinet sounded awesome! When we I got it back to
where I was staying I plugged it in to the 1972 Marshall head. WOW! Lookout! Superb combination. The best sound ever. Marshall
will never be caught by the competition, no way!!
The fine people at Marshall had done it again. Another satisfied
customer. Thank you to all at Marshall for a job well done. With Marshall you never get anything less than perfection,
I will be their ambassador for LIFE.

I meet my 'special order'. (Just the cabinet not the head of course, which
was taken brand new out of it's box so we could use it for our test)

George cranks it! And yes..George is a girl.

Testing the cabinet with a Marshall
