Wizard Oz : Lead guitar,
keyboards, backing vocals. At age ten the musical path began for Wizard Oz when he played his first guitar, an AGS 6 string
Acoustic. When only twelve years old, he formed his first band "Blue Mist", a three piece project featuring himself on
lead guitar. The following year he formed "Hellbent", a four piece with himself on lead guitar. At age eighteen
'Wizard' Oz co-formed "Justin Eyeball", the Rush tribute band which toured western Canada and was top amongst local Vancouver
bands at that time. A few years later he moved back to his native Liverpool England and formed "Crowded", a four piece
band, playing lead guitar, singing and playing keyboards whilst touring England.
It was upon his return to Canada that he formed "Snake
Eyes" with vocalist Paul LeComte, bass player Mark Sandquist and drummer Abe Michaud. Their debut album " The Journey Begins"
was recorded in 1999. Since that time the line up has seen a change of drummer and bass player due to Oz's desire to take
the tour to Europe.
Oz has played with UK band "The Shakers" and
"Metalworks, featuring Pete Friesen guitarist from "Alice Cooper and "The Almighty" and Les Binks, ex- drummer from "Judas
Priest" and he has played and recorded with "Cryers Diary", featuring Jon Millard, ex "Angelwitch" member. Oz has
also played with Mark Birch from "Wishbone Ash", Robin Eaglestone of "Cradle of Filth" along with Tony Ritchie and Lional
Hicks from "Balance of Power".
